INTRODUCTION

The following vacancies in the Customer Services Department for the GEMS Business Unit in Cape Town is available for suitably qualified persons.This exciting opportunity awaits a go getter who is a self-motivated individual. You will be responsible for dealing with member queries and ensuring service delivery in line with the Business Unit SLA.

THE INCUMBENT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Ensuring the resolution of client queries and aim to achieve first call resolution

Maintaining the goodwill of the company by upholding the SLA standards

Investigating queries where necessary and provide timeous feedback to the member

Interpreting the query and determine appropriate path of resolution

Escalating queries where necessary to ensure member satisfaction

Accurate logging of information for statistical reporting purposes

THE APPLICANT SHOULD MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS:

Matric or Grade 12 equivalent

MS Office proficiency

2-3 years’ experience in a call centre or client service environment is essential

Medical aid administrative experience (would be an advantage)

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Preferred languages: isiZulu,ePedi, seTswana, IsSwati and isiNdebele

You will be required to work a 6 day week, i.e. Monday to Fridays from 08H00 to 17H00 and on Saturdays from 8H00 to 12H00. Saturday work will be based on operational requirements.
