Position Description

Specialist Business – Transport has a position available for an Insurance Consultant who will be based in Sandton.

Key Responsibilities

The successful incumbent will be required to provide support to the Relationship managers, assist brokers, policyholders and prospective policyholders with the use of the infrastructure provided within the agreed Service Level Agreement.

Minimum Requirements

Matric or equivalent qualification
Minimum COP or other Insurance related qualification
FAIS & RE accreditation
At least 2-3 years’ experience in an operational environment SKILLS:

Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills

Computer literate (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Heavy Commercial Vehicles Insurance products
Relevant System knowledge – Persetel
Technical product knowledge with regard to short term insurance
Technical underwriting knowledge
